Fishing Adventure and Ocean Conservation Go Together
John Dietsch, executive producer and host of the TV series Adventure Guides, focuses his attention on a topic of great interest to anglers – conserving our ocean’s resources.
Dietsch, who hails from Pacific Palisades, Calif., explores better ways of managing our oceans that don't discredit or diminish the conservation role that recreational anglers play in inshore and offshore fishing.
His ocean conservation segment will air on the Outdoor Channel on:

Dietsch interviewed several sportfishing tackle manufacturers, guides and anglers, both U.S. and internal, about how recreational fishing plays a crucial role in ocean conservation. In particular, he looks at the ongoing fight in California over marine protected areas – essentially no fishing zones – that line California's coastline and threaten the future of sportfishing access in the state, with implications nationwide.
